Switch, Motor Cut Out Switch Suburban End Gate. This is the electrical switch mounted to the left latch in the lift-gate on a power window Suburban. Item pictured will be item that is shipped. Item has been cleaned and tested and works as it should. There is a very small crack in the housing which is pointed to in the pictures. This does not seem to be affecting its operation. We do not know the interchange on these for years they might fit.
This item when latch is open acts like an open circuit, so switch does not get power to the window motor. When gate is up and latched, the circuit is closed and will allow the current to go to the window motor to allow the window to go up and down as it should.
